its going to be a tough game hopefully the raps will be able to get the W here, the raps have a nice long break before his game so I think they will be well rested enough to play good and play hard and pull one out...104-100 raps

the next two games

Post#10 » by bill russell » Sat Jan 26, 2008 3:20 am

the win over boston was fun and good for our confidence, and same goes for tonight's against the bucks. but the next two against the wizards might be the most important games of the mid-season. As things stand now, Washington is our most likely first round opponent (I'm betting Orlando continues to slide). Even if that's not the case, we're likely to be jockeying with the Wiz for the rest of the season.
Do you agree on the importance of these games? Are we a better team than the Wiz, and what's the key to beating them? (We lost a close one in Washington in December.)

The key in beating them is out rebounding them and playing aggressive basketball. We also haven't been able to knock down our shots when there most needed. Rebounding will be a big issue with the Wizards considering they have Haywood who is one of the best centers in the east and Jamison who's a good rebounder. It'll be tough for Bosh to get pull down rebounds since Bargnani isn't the greatest of rebounders we have. Look for Bargnani to spend most of the 2 games on the bench and Rasho playing more. It'll be tough playing the Wizards but hopefully we come out with atleast 1 win or possibly 2. Last thing I wanna see is we drop 2 straight to them. Go Raptors !

We'd be more likely to win if they had Arenas chucking up shots and battling Caldy..

I wish this was tomorrow, now we have to wait till Tuesday...

This is a BIG game, I think we could take both games against the Wiz.... we're very close to Orlando for that 3rd seed....

honestly we're on another level right now (minus the philly game). we're finally playing with some confidence, bargs is getting back to his old form, bosh is as consistent as ever, jose is just brilliant (he even talks a lot of trash now but backs it up), and the team as a whole is just working like a well oiled machine. let's take 2 from the wiz!
