Mmk. I can not stand this guy. I feel bad for him, because of what happened this past offseason. But I don't think he is a good fit on this team. It's just not working. He's got so much talent, but what good is it when he doesn't use it properly? He can't make threes and when he drives to the basket it's out of control and another offensive foul. He's a great rebounder and a decent passer.
I know it's going to sound like I am high right now, but on offense, if we do keep him, I would put him as the PG. No joke. Him at point, Fish at the two, Kobe three, Turiaf four, and Kwame at the five. On defense he will guard the three, Kobe the two, and Fish the point.
In my opinion he needs to be the creator of the offense in order to be efficient and at his best. He is almost non-existent in one-on-one.
Someone call me out now. I want to debate.
Let's do this!
I think the only one who would disagree with you is B-Scott and it probably wouldn't be much of a debate going by his posts, he just repeats the same thing over and over. (see rest of thread)
As far as Odom as a point guard, that is an interesting perspective and might be just what the doctor ordered to get his game going.
BTW, just for the record, regarding the bold part above. If you are referring to the death of his son then that happened two offseasons ago, not this past offseason. If you are referring to something else, forget this post.
