The whole organisation just comes across as really non-ambitious to me. As MD mentioned, the last three coach hirings have been for reasons other than winning basketball games, the FA signings have all been uninspired... the only one that made sense was Bobby Simmons, it's not managements fault he hasn't performed. I mean when your off-season is Desmond Mason, Jake Voshkul, Royal Ivey, Michael Ruffin and Awvey Storey it's a clear sign that management just don't give a ****.
I'm also really disappointed in the Bucks lack of participation within the NBDL... it may have been a joke league for the first season or two, but there are legit talents to be found there. One even belongs to the freaking team! You can't tell me a guy like Sessions would not contribute in any way at all to this god awful team, or that someone like Lasme or Benson isn't as good as Ruffin or Storey? I don't get it.
If not LK, then who?

MD----why do you disregard the chances of us signing JVG? Like you pointed out, Kohl has hired coaches of a similar caliber before, and after him going 0/3 on the cheap coaches you'd think he'd be much more open to going that route again.
I agree that this team needs a shakeup from the top down...but the problem I worry about (and I think Kohl does too) is that there aren't any owners he can sell to who would keep the team in milwaukee. If that's the case, I'd much rather have a crappy franchise here than a good one in a different state.
what if he gives JVG a veto ability on GM moves? Dunlevy and Karl both had a lot of pull with the organization in terms of personnel, so I don't think it'd be out of line to throw a coach like Van Gundy a bone on more minor moves especially.
