The good thing about Rose, the guy knows how to push the ball, he sets up the tempo very well. Also has two strong hands of the dribble. He looks like a young Stephon Marbury quick wise, and body wise, I wouldn't compared him to a Wade though like some in here do.

But the fact the Heat have Shaq, would probably negate his ability to really fast break and push the tempo. But I would still take a chance on him, because Shaq will be out in two years, those could be two great years to develop his game.

I have yet to see Beasly though.

Yeah Gordon seem to have a bad day, but I wouldn't put to much stock on it. Guy looks like a little Barkley when I see him play. Guy has impressive short space quickness, and very nifty.

Derrick Rose is lightning quick, a truely instinctive, pure, PG - with the kind of explosiveness you see in very few players with that type of feel for the game. he is a big time playmaker with pro-level athleticism and speed. only knock on Rose is his lack of an outside touch but as a floor general and basketball player he is going to be special.

Eric Gordon was a huge dissapointment today if anyone didnt bring it, he looked horrible and the guard from UConn was harrassing him all game (dont know the kids name but he outplayed Gordon)

now going to settle in for the KState game and see how Beasley looks today.....

yea Rose was great and Gordon was bad..but its 1 game, for most of the season its been the other way around.

Is Beasley on TV today?

I know Gordon has clearly outplayed Rose this season but I think next to Wade, Rose might be the better fit.

Beasley is on ESPN Full Court

Crazy Andy didn't make his big screen appearance today. Maybe I was in the bathroom.

Not sure about the Rose/Wade thing-- feel much safer with Beasley/Wade or Bayless/Wade

Bayless would fit better with Wade imo. Without a doubt, since he could shoot the 3 a lot better

maybe we could get somebody to take Blount's contract to trade back some spots if we get number 1 or 2

we could trade down with a team that really wants Rose/Beasley, and get some cap releif out of it. And take Bayless with the 5th or 6th pick or whatever we trade back to?

(again, all of this is hypothetical on us getting the 1 or the two)

i like Bayless..but i think the gap between Beasley and everyone else is huge.

To the point were im more for trading up than down..Beasley and Wade are just perfect complements..maybe even better than Boozer and Williams.

Beasley Wade would be one of the best combos ever. If Beasley pans out and isnt the headcase that is being reported. Im sure his rookie year with Pat Riley D-Wade and Shaq should keep him in line though.. His defense is poor supposedly and I'm not sure how he would fare guarding SF's.

He makes Haslem Tradeable or an awesome player off the bench

yeah I think Beasley's defense is a little bit underrated with the amount of criticism he recieves in that area, I think he is a pretty good low post defender, just a bit undersized at 6'9" (that is a generous measurement too...), his talents on offense outweigh any flaw he may have at this point. He is extremely crafty around the rim, has a soft touch from 12-16 feet and can even occasionally step out and bury one from deep. He has good instincts when pursuing rebounds, which help to compensate for his lack of overall size.

Beasley looks like he is a left handed version of Carlos Boozer, that is a great comparison. I have seen him compared to Melo and that i just dont see...
