Bryant gets nod over James for first-half MVP

By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports
January 26, 2008

There are still three weeks to All-Star weekend, but the NBA has reached its midway mark and that makes it an ideal time to take out the erasable ink. The beauty of the season is the fluidity of story lines, the rise and fall of fortunes, so clearly these choices can change come April.

Nevertheless, here are the season

It's about time.
Kobe has been in play-maker mode most of the season as opposed to the scorer mode which he was in most of the last 3 seasons. I suspect his willingness to trust and involve his teammates has a lot to do with him receiving consideration.

Lil Weezy!!!

Damn, id jump for joy if kobe finally won the mvp. Shaq only won 1 his entire career for a season mvp. Which is dedicated to playing great over 82 games. Id love love love to see it happen.

Lil Wayne is trash first of all.

Secondly, I have a vote and I'll see to it that Kobe wins.

don't mvps usually go to the best player on the team with the most wins, or second most wins?

right now, it it should be cp3 or kg. when nash won it two years ago, the suns had the most wins right?

either way, i'm sure he'd love to get out of the first round more than some meaningless award. i'm sure dirk cherishes that mvp from last season right? lol. i bet his therapy bills are enormous! too bad he doesn't live in canada. here you can go to therapy for free if you get the right therapist!

the key now is for the Lakers to average a winning record while Andrew is out and so far we are 1-3. granted the loses are against the elite of the west, but his team mates need to seriously step up and help him.
