Naw KG is just more bark than bite. Notice how when he thought his team was about to lose, he taps out and fakes and injury knowing that if he comes back and they win, he is the saviour, he comes back and they lose, the he was playing through injury.

Keep in mind Kg was on one knee in pain during the huddle, yet after the game the pain vanishes and he is able to jump up and down and run all around the court acting foolish. Go figure.

yeah, the adrenaline from beating the team that held him back for a decade had NOTHING to do with it. your absolutely right.

Thats a pleasant thought greenbeans, but I am sure he couldn't care less about Big Al "earning" his jersey.

Looking at the numbers from 82games Al at the 4 scores less and rebounds more than he does at the 5 with shooting percentages that are basically identical,it is pretty much a wash from an offensive point of view.

It is the defensive end that really shows the difference in his play at the 2 positions.

As a 4 his opponent shoots 47% compared to 59% as a 5, Al has a 2 to 1 rebound advantage as a 4 as opposed to it being even as a 5.His opponent as a 4 has a PER of 15.9, as a 5 it is 21.9.

The good news is that the opponent PER figure as a 5 has dropped a couple of points from earlier in the season.

I think the whole banging on the chest , yanking on his Jersey , calling peps M.F , turning around and making sure everyone saw him representing the Green was a complete .........well , the right word is .............JOKE ..................

I mean the way him and the rest of Cs celebrate after they win .
You would think the won the last game of the finals .
What a Joke , give me a break .
K.G is a disgrace to himself , to the T.W and every fan that ever respected him.
I use to like him , but I think he's a garbage now .

Cant believe I use to think he had class.

He basically took a dump on the entire T.W fans , players , and Org.

Then he comes out to the media and tries to make it sound like he was playing against JUST ANOTHER team , so it was Okay to act like an idot in the middle of the court , since his teammates no longer played for T.W .

Being on the other side of a KG fadeaway miss with the game on the line felt pretty good (even if his teammates and a boneheaded corey brewer play bailed him out). I will take Al going hard to the hole every time.

As a fan I got so sick of watching KG's constant cussing and trash talking, which in his last few years was directed more and more at his own teammates.

Kendrick Perkins is the guy who really brought it last night, and the guy Boston's playoff hopes hinge on. If he can't handle Dwight Howard or Detroit's bigs I really honestly think the Celtics will not even make the finals , with as bad as Ray Allen has looked so far this year and how raw and untested the rest of their rotation is. Detroit and Orlando when healthy are solid, solid teams.

At the midpoint of the season, and in hindsight I would trade KG for Al straight up. Telfair looks to be our perfect backup PG (used like Barbosa but without the shooting) and it's great to hear he wants to stay here (unlike his crazy cousin). If we'd had his on-ball d during KG's prime I think we would've won a couple titles. Gomes is the perfect big SF or 6th man off the bench,, and the draft picks are gravy.
After watching him destroy Amare Stoudemire, I'd actually prefer Al to Amare, who lives off Nash's spoonfeeding and clearly has little dedication to defense or improving.

Kingly, tell Big Al we love him here in Minny and feel his pain when it comes to having walker, smith, and gomes as his only protection down low. Personally, I'm rooting for us to draft the beast that is DeAndre Jordan to play next to him and knock people around. That is like 8-10 offensive rebounds and 5-6 blocks per game between the 2.

I agree, Al seems more tired when going against bigger players. I like him at the 4 much more than the 5. I think he can be a 20-10 guy at the 5, but he can be special at the 4

So Big Al wants a big man? I want us to get Rose in the draft and Sign Diop, who has already shown he can be a good rebounder and timely shot blocker in limited minutes, he had crazy block games as a starter in Dallas.

Sorry yall, but im re-joining the dark side with Rev, I actually think it may be better to trade down a few spots or even if we get shafted out of the #1 (huge possibility) and fall to the 4 and grab Roy Hibbert.

We would have our own Roy "ROY" next year. A Hibbert/Big Al frontcourt provides a TON of offense and alot of pick and roll/pop situations which i see us being very good at with Foye/McCants/Telfair.

LOL Its hilarious because I was THIS close to starting that post with "Sorry RC but..."

I like what Hibbert can bring, he fills a need and with some work, he can be a really great player.

Only in a perfect world lol. Hibbert would be ok, but Rose +Diop = playoffs next year and so on. I think Rose is a difference maker much like Al, plus Diop is is better than Hibbert in everything except offense..

In 12 years as Wolf, KG never played up an injury. He has no history of getting hurt in close or important games. The idea that KG was faking is ridiculous.

KG continues his facade by sitting out against Orlando.

Being forced to sit out by management so the team can tank is hardly the same as faking an injury to avoid shame or amplify glory.
