Today's Games Discussion (January-27-2008)

Post#1 » by supersub15 » Sun Jan 27, 2008 3:20 pm

1:00 PM Phoenix vs. Chicago
1:00 PM Boston vs. Orlando - ABC
3:30 PM Cleveland vs. LA Lakers - ABC & Sportsnet
6:00 PM Washington vs. Milwaukee
6:00 PM Atlanta vs. Portland
6:30 PM Denver vs. Dallas - RaptorsTV
6:30 PM New Jersey vs. Minnesota
7:00 PM Utah vs. Houston
9:00 PM New York vs. Golden State
9:00 PM Sacramento vs. Seattle

I want the Suns, Celtics, Lakers, Bucks, Blazers, Wolves and Knicks to win. If you're asking why the Knicks, it's because I don't want them to get a good pick (and they're not making the playoffs anyways).

Wow some very good games today! I can't wait!

I'm glad we are in the part of the season where ABC will have a ton of double headers.

I think Cleveland/LA, and Phoenix/Chicago could also prove to be pretty entertaining. The Phoenix/Chicago game just because I think it will be a pretty high scoring affair.

I'm thinking LA will get owned by the Cavs today. Why? One word: Kwame. :)

And I'm going to give it to Minne cuz they've been playing "well" as of late, and yeah, it's the Nets who are stinking it up big time.

Supposedly he has an abdominal muscle strain, but they cleared him to play today. :(

Argh!! And he's on my fantasy team too.

Well, this has been a decidedly boring game so far. Boston looks like ass without KG, and Orlando looks like ass without......an easy schedule? Hopefully things pick up.

ABC needs to change their opening music. I hate it.

or maybe I just miss the old NBA on NBC music.

I miss NBA on NBC, period. Those were halcyon days indeed.

Boston is off to a surprisingly good start...don't expect them to win this one without Garnett, though.

Orlando just looks and feels disinterested.

Man, both teams look like they were up late last night. Save for Leon Powe.

Edit: even the end-of-quarter buzzer didn't show up to play.
