Even with the lack of a front court, a Kidd-RJ-Carter trio should be a lot more competitive. Kidd just doesn't have that impact anymore, hollow triple doubles not withstanding.

Wow... That's the dumbest post. Ever. Congratulations. Wow...

Kidd can't lead a team to a decent record in the East with 2 good players, you think he could in the West?? And my post might be dumb, but I've seen a lot worse come out of your mouth.

Kidd is upset with the Nets because he didn't get the contract extension he wanted. If Rod Thorn gave him the additional 2 years, you'd see the Nets magically start to win games. This is about money, and Kidd would obviously do better for himself if he gets it now rather than when his current deal expires.

Well actually he got to the finals twice with RJ and Kmart, basically turning Kenyon into an All Star player with his passes.

Thanks Dr. Salad Bowl, but ever heard of a player declining and eventually retiring? Did he take them their last year or even 2 years ago? That was 5 freaking years ago.

I wouldn't trade for Kidd unless I could put 4 very good offensive players around him.

He can make almost anyone look better on offense than anyone.

I think the best destination for him would be San Antonio. If I remember correctly he said he wouldnt mind playing there after his contract is up.This works in trade checker.

I think one Jason Kidd thread on a Celtics board is enough. Put it on the general board if you would like to further this. In fact, I will move it there.

Kidd is better than TP, but not for our team..COMPLETELY different players..Parker is a 100% great fit for the system, Kidd isn't..it's not like Kidd is going to want to come off the bench..

Why in the world would spurs give up Parker for Kidd? Parker is much younger and it is not like SA is looking to make a move to put them over the top. This trade simply makes zero sense for the spurs.

It doesn't make much sense, Tony P hasn't even his his prime yet.
