ouch tough loss. Good offensive effort by RJ / VC. Too bad neither could pull out a bucket at the end. Big Al was just a beast, wonder if Magloire could have slowed him down any but Al is trouble from away from the paint too so...

...Gomes 3 pt was just barf...dude is like 30% from 3pt land but hits a clutch one when needed.

on a positive note at least the roadtrip is finished !

I know this loss is gonna kill Nets fans but at least they give good effort today. The team is getting buried by all directions (and rightfully so) but I'll just take the positives from this game and move on to the next.

RJ does it every night thats the difference. He gives it his all EVERY NIGHT. YOU WILL ALWAYS GET A 100% from RJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whatever we all know what this team is w/o Vince. We all know what this team is w/o RJ also. We got more wins w/o Rj than w/o Vince.

Don't feel too bad - Atlanta blew a 19 point lead in the 2nd half and lost to the Blazers earlier tonight as well.

I'm sure needed changes will be coming soon to right the ship in New Jersey.

First of all, I'm not surprised we lost this game. Knew it was coming.

Frank is an idiot. Why is Collins in the game on offense with 1 minute to go? Why do they run a play for RJ when we're down when VC SHOULD be the "go-to" guy...THEN after we're down 3, we expect VC to bail us out. Pathetic.

Fire Frank!

We are pulling a sweet trick. Go from last to first after the All-Star break haha.

I wish.

Yep they can't just re group and be a legit playoff team I have been a net fan for years not even being in NJ and have watched almost every game this season and I will tell you this is the only time they should blow up this team. When we've started slow the last 3 years I have said to me self no need to worry and we will get there and make the playoffs and hope have a good run but this year I could careless it won't happen we need to hang franks neck by a stick and get rid of anyone on this team to get better I don't care who it is.

You said to stop bashing VC so I did. He still sucked this game. He just missed a big shot. He should have drove to the line. I cant give he any credit against the T-Wolves...come on.

Where did I say stop bashing Vince??? did I say that, where???

Hot shots your like clock work...a real fan looks at the Nets from free throw line, not missing a shot in the end of the game...

a real fan, calls Frank out for having Collins in the game and us being to small at that juncture of the game (misses fts and cant grab a rebound to save his life)

a real fan, understands yeh Vince could of taken a better shot, but then you see RJ drive and pull up and brick a point blank shot...so RJ is as much to blame as VC, probably more IMO...if you like that angle (which I dont)

a real fan, looks at the last play of the game, despite another miss by Vince, that was absolutely an ugly inbound play called by Frank (regardless of the time on clock, Vince gets the ball in a ugly spot, too far from the basket...but I obviously understand some of that has to do w. the Wolves defense...) still cant we get anything more creative to tie the game from three besides this iso bull from 37ft...

but we all know you're not a fan, you're a Vince hater..

Six of one --- half-a-dozen of the other. This isn't 2 years ago. With RJ out Vince can carry the team for 2 or 3 games, but over a long RJ outage, the team would lose just as much. VC can't sustain a high level on demand -- see the playoffs. He flames out.

Any way you cut it, the team sucks. The only difference is the degree of suck.

yeh we definitely feel the same...Frank is pissing me off w. this favorite stuff...he thinks Collins and Wright are these defensive specialists...yeh they can play some good defense, but how can you not worry about being too small down the stretch vs Al Jefferson who has been a beast all night...I can accept Boone in the same spot missing the same fts Collins did, but then on the other side grabbing that def rebound that Jefferson took on the off boards...

on another note...wow we cant defend the 3pt line...we really let McCants blow up from behind the arc...are we blind... :o

I don't understand why when we have the ball and were up by 6 points with a minute and change left we take a quick shot and not burn time off the clock and set up a nice play.

Stop putting the loss on RJ or Vince they had great games I think again Vince played well and did not force things you can't hate him fior missing a **** called play by frank. This game should of never came down to the wire you should be blaming the team and the coach Fire Franky boy.

exactly what I predicted months ago is going to occur. Kidd has already said through his agent he wants out. Thorn waited too long to make SOME type of move. If we would've fired Frank months ago, or made some type of move to bring in some new blood; this whole snowball effect wouldn't have happened.

Now we're faced with Kidd wanting out, Thorn displaying his manly love towards Frank and going into a rebuilding stage. Very sad.

come on G...there was not a trade worth making...name the one we passed over that we missed out on...

but I feel ya...we're in a tough position as an organization...as Marv said, things can pop up on the trading block during this time of the year when you find a team in a title chase that needs a pg like Kidd...so ya never know...

I'm not saying we missed out on one. I'm saying Thorn was too complacent and was preaching patience too much. This experiment has went on long enough, something needed to be done before Kidd demanded out. Now it's too late and management is stuck in this position.

OMG OMG What terrible coaching decisions down the stretch, horrid. We should trade Frank before the deadline. Keeping Collins in, getting RJ to take that shot, leaving out Boone, not defending the 3 with 1 minute left and up by seven!!! OMG

WE CAN'T GET STOPS, WE JUST CAN'T, IT DRIVES ME CRAZY! I'd prefer we be the defensive team with no offense, than an offensive team with no defense.

And management has really let down the Nets, still no post presence after how long, 3-4 years? Al Jef just destroyed us, the same way all bigs do.

Man, I'm so frustrated. It makes no sense to me. How can we be SO close to contending with a HOF PG and one of the best scorers in the league with VC. To very soon being a rebuilding team and starting over.

The lack of moves by management (coach, bench, legit big) over the past 2 or so years have been GLARING needs, yet nothing can be done about it? I find that hard to believe..I just do. It's very disappointing!
