Six of one --- half-a-dozen of the other. This isn't 2 years ago. With RJ out Vince can carry the team for 2 or 3 games, but over a long RJ outage, the team would lose just as much. VC can't sustain a high level on demand -- see the playoffs. He flames out.
Any way you cut it, the team sucks. The only difference is the degree of suck.
I actually think he can because that would make him play like the number 1option instead of a role player. With RJ i think he's for some reason plays as a role player instead of a allstar/superstar like last yr. The new offense has went away from VC to RJ. If you ask me, I think this team is more successful when RJ is playin off of VC than the other way around. And that prolly wont happen again til Frank is gone. It also seems that everyone forgets that the reason RJ is so successful is because VC gets all the double teams. Other teams dont gameplan as much for RJ as they do VC because they know that VC also makes his team better with his passing skills. RJ doesnt make ne1 better.

its seems everyone forgets so fast...ENTER Nenad Krstic...w/ him healthy and playing at a high level translates to the front office's so called patience with this team...obvioulsy everything doesnt go to plan...
but prediciting the Nets unraveling like was unlikely...the way we're losing games, close game, giving games away...shows that the Nets are losing that so called glue that gets your over the hump and makes a competitive team a winning team...

No thank you. We don't need another slow footed big body.
Not to mention I think we have enough bigs.
How exactly is Roy a slow footed big body? The kid is going to be a dominent player for years. He hasn't even scratched the surface on what he is going to be one day. I would love to have Roy, someone who could actually guard the Al Jeffersons of the L.

Holding my frustration back as things here have been b****ed and moaned about in recent weeks for the same reasons, I am completely open to the rebuilding option. Thorn likes Frank too much and no one in that front office or coaching staff is going anywhere soon and our business over basketball owner is putting all of his time into Brooklyn. I'd like to think I'm not cursing a bit more as I've done all that at work or during poker.
Seriously though, if tonight isn't a wake-up call, I don't think anything will help this team.

Yeah i think so too. But... who can shoot the damn freethrow? NOBODY!
So TRADE KIDD AND CARTER. As much as i loved them both, i feel we should start trading them for a legit big man and a decent shooter. I dont think we're going to get a superstar in return but just someone better than what we have now and i prefer better DRAFT pick in return. Maybe we can get a superstar PG guard in the making (im talking about more of an scoring PG) because i believe with the way the system is i dont think KIDD fits in and it's possible that it is one of the main reasons why we're stumbling like this.
I truly prefer Carter over RJ but i think we should go for the younger guy and a better contract in RJ.

Arrgh. The TWs, outside of Big Al played as bad as .... the Nets! Except the last minute we where the one team that can't get clutch stops and can't make clutch shots.
Kidd gets no pass. What happened Jason? 2000-2003 you use to be so clutch, and made the shots that needed to be made.
Kidd's either just lost it, given up or is tanking. He used to be a blue-chip closer -- like Billups. Now he's just a regular streak shooter.
