We really just need a slasher. We don't need anymore guys who can shoot, we need a guy who has like 30% on jump shots, but can drive the lane and get to the line like 6-8 times a game to complement Bosh.

I was reading the Bucks board just the other day and someone mentioned how part of the reason for the Ford trade was chemistry issues, but I don't think he mentioned Redd. I'm just not that sure about that guy. I think he was also unwilling to let the offense run through Bogut as well. It seems like he just wants his shots.
Don't get me wrong, he isn't my ideal lead guard, either, but once you get into this kind of caliber of player beggars can't be too choosy.
How much was Pierce criticized for not letting the offense run through Al Jefferson? Now Pierce is letting the offense run through KG and the Timberwolves are letting the offense run through Jefferson. Bogut certainly gets his share of scoring opportunities this season now that he's a better player.
Most of those 'chemistry issues' with Ford came out after the trade and tried to paint TJ in a negative light. Star players can play with other star players. Redd would definitely let Bosh get his share of the touches, and Bosh would make sure of that, particularly with either Jose or TJ running the show (as opposed to Mo Williams who is far more of a scorer than a distributor). The questions I'd have would be defensively, but I think they could be sorted out, starting with Moon and Delfino on the Wings and Bosh up front.

As much as I'd love to get Michael Redd, I really don't think we have the pieces necessary to land him. We aren't really a great trading partner with Milwaukee; they've committed a lot of money into Mo Williams at the point, and have several skilled big men (Yi, Charlie). Unless they're extremely interested in Jamario Moon or Rasho Nesterovic, I don't think we have anything to offer the Bucks.
