On a side note, check out the msg boards on TSN. Good God, if some of those posters were on here, my ignore list would be massive. Not to mention the amount of thread-locking the Mods would probably have to do.
*EDIT* I'm shocked by the number of guys proposing ideas for trading TJ or Jose. Wow. Just wow...

Grange with the negative outlook, any team that loses a significant player to injury would be in trouble. Lets hope Calderon stays healthy and although we have no idea when T.J will be back and how he'll respond when he does get back, I do believe we will make a trade for a capable back-up point so we don't wear Calderon down. That should be Colangelo's first priority right now.

Imagine Dixon starting and D-Mart backing him up??!...ugh... The only way we could possibly get out of that would be to find a surprise starter in the D-League, or maybe Delfino starts at PG and suddenly becomes the next Jose...
Everyone is posting that, and obviously we would be majorly screwed, but I think we'd still win games, and I don't think we'd be at risk for missing the playoffs, remember, we're in the east. I think if Jose got injured, we'd still be able to beat bad teams with Dixon/Martin, just wouldn't beat any of the good teams.

Cleveland/Washington/Orlando/Dallas/Phoenix is one ankle (Lebron's, Butler's, Howard's, Dirk's, Nash's) from fighting for the 8th seed.
I don't understand why writers bring this stuff up.
In other news, the world economy is one stock market crash away from going into another Great Depression. EVERYBODY SELL YOUR SHARES!!!
In terms of Washington keeping up with us if both teams avoid injury, no one has mentioned how much they will improve if Gilbert comes back.
At the same time, our team will become an offensive juggernaut if Garbo and TJ play by March. When I watch our games right now, it amazes me how much responsibility Moon, Delfino and Parker are taking upon themselves to create offense whether or not Jose is out there and how much help D they play. When TJ comes back doing his disruptive stuff as he used to and Garbo returns and plays his other worldly team defense, (especially in small-ball lineups with Moon) we're going to start having the blowouts that people were talking about in the summer.
