I hope we get an update on Harris soon. I wouldn't mind him missing tomorrow against Memphis, but we need him back on Thursday in Boston.

We let them come close in the 3rd. Terry, Bass and whoever of the bench was out there in the 3rd sucked. Period. No ball movement, no defense, TOs, etc. Josh had his disappearing act after a big first half. Devin and Dirk were in foul trouble and good thing Dirk stepped up.

Updates on Devin? Pretty sure he won't be playing against Memphis.

I don't understand all the trash talking on Bass. I used to get frustrated when he had that tunnel vision, but the last week or so, he has been doing great. I mean, he had 6 pts on 3/4 shooting with 4 reb, 2 blks, and 2 asts in only 18 min.

Diop looked great out there with 5 pts, 11 reb, 2 blks, 1 stl, an ast and NO TO's or PF's.

Dirk looked good in the 4th and Howard did good in the 1st.

Terry quietly has become a better defender the past month, but he still cannot run the offense as good as Harris.

Overall, I did not like this game. AI did whatever he wanted against Terry and more than I wanted against Harris. However, Barea pestered him some. I think we deserved to lose this game, but a win is a win.

Ticket was talking about him in post game. The first game with an effective PG is Det. As I was watching the game, my son asked me about Harris and Terry. I told him the differences, but the biggest difference was that Terry does not get hurt, and Harris does. After emerging this year, he needs to show he can stay healthy.

Terry stays healthy because he is not as aggressive as Harris. If Harris started playing like Terry (soft), he would not get injured as much and be much easier for us to let him go.

Exactly, how many times do you see Terry sprinting down the court for an easy layup and attacking the basket? None. How many times do you see Terry dribbling the ball forever and then taking an ouside shot? All the time.

you do know he was the one guarding anthony carter, the man who was hitting 3's like no other, i did say anthony carter right? terry = worst defensive guard in the nba.

Good points on aggressiveness. I just think of terry being skinny and fragile, but he has rarely missed games from injury, only nut punching

You do know that there are several types of defenders, right? Like Bruce Bowen is great man to man where as others like Caron Butler is much better at playing the passing lanes and getting steals.

Terry has has a few blocks, steals, strips, etc. I never said he was a hard nosed, lock down defender. I never said he was even thought of as an all-defensive team canidate. Terry HAS become a better defender and whether you want to admit it or not (since you try to trade him for whatever trash is available on the trade forum) is a moot point. Give the man same credit for hustling.

Last 10 games 14 stls & 4 blks. Better than his norm.

I was actually about to give him credit, but when anthony carter makes u look bad, then plain and simple you're bad, i would trade him for any good deal that comes up, without question, notice how we lost the last two playoff series, wade and bdiddy, two ppl terry could never guard, if he cant guard anthony carter, what would either of those 2 do to us.

harris leaves terry mans the point, and carter gets like 12 points in a short span, coincidence? nope

I never said he was off limits, I was just commenting on the fact that his 14 stls, 4 blks in the last 10 games to go with plenty of knock aways not counted as steals was impressive to me. I hope he keeps that up because that is what we need from him when Harris is on the bench.

defense isnt only about steals and blocks, id rather have a defender who can consistently hold his man to limited points than one who can get a few defensvie stats a game, i think we can both agree anthony carter sucks, and he looked like reggie miller out there with terry guarding him.

Carter was just hot. It didn't really matter who was guarding him, and to blame it on Terry is dumb. Terry wasn't even the guy on him on several of those shots. I specifically remember one where Howard was all over Carter but he still drained it.
