Deron took over at the end of the game and it was Game Over.

Has anyone around here mentioned how much they love having Korver on this team?

Andrei ... The Return.

Millsap was great tonight. He challenged every shot that went up for them.

If anyone wants some amusement, check out the game thread on the Rockets board (not the real gm one but the board that starts with the word 'clutch'). Their hatred of the Jazz is somewhere near psychotic. Take this gem for example:

i hate the jazz.

when the rockets win i'll get to rub it in all the jazz fans faces tomorrow at work.

hahaha b!tches!

How I wish I worked with this douche.....well, for a day at least.

The Rockets get owned by us every time we come in their building and they still blabber about how they're the better team. Tmac is the laziest, softest player I've ever seen. Scola is overrated, and their role players all suck.

Remember all the yacking by them about how all the additions to their team improved to title contention over the off-season?

Man, I love what Korver brings to this team. Now we don't have to rely so much on Okur for outside shooting, which is a huge bonus, especially at the end of games. That's not to mention his free throw shooting (even if he did miss one today) or the chemistry that he already seems to have with his teammates. Even if our schedule hasn't been overly difficult of late, it's no coincidence that we've generally been playing better and finishing off games better with Korver in the lineup.
Also, since I wasn't able to watch the game, I was wondering what you guys thought about Price's play. He made more of a dent in the boxscore than Hart usually does and I've always thought he brings more to the table. He's super athletic, he's a pesky defender who can provide a spark, and he's got some scoring ability; unlike Hart, he can actually get to the basket and finish at times and shoot the ball reasonably well from outside. He may not be a true point guard, but I definitely prefer him over Hart. I'm not saying I think Price is a savior or anything, but I hate Hart and the fact that he is only a threat to do anything useful offensively once every ten games or so.

Can hardly blame them for that. A lot of non-Rockets' fans, myself included, said the same thing...and that's what sports fans do. They've got talent and a good coach, and I doubt we've heard the last of them this year.

Yeah, they are just like us, not playing as good as they should so far. They should and I guess will be in the playoffs. Today we did what we should of done, beat a team without its best player. Cant really talk Sh*t about that.

We would have beat them even harder WITH Yao. He's the one guy in the league Okur CAN guard, and he slows down their game even more than it already is.

we lost this game because of ft misses.instead of scola going to the line and missing almost 10 by hisself, yao would have knocked all of them down.i'm pretty sure yao 20-30 points were missed also.

This team is finally showing signs of getting it back together again. I wanted to see some consistency and late game tenacity on the road before I started to come around, and they have shown that of late.

This team is going to be in the playoffs. In fact, I will go so far as to guarantee that we win the division. 50 wins is realistic. We aren't going to lose any more than 6 at home this year, so that is 35 wins. That means we need to get to 15 wins on the road. Right now, with all the road woes we've been through, we are on pace for nearly 14. If we can improve slightly, that puts us right at 50.

Maybe a bit premature, but these are the signs I've been waiting for, personally.
