Which teams would want Redd?

Post#1 » by youngbuck » Tue Jan 29, 2008 12:07 am

Hey there everyone I'm new here, sorry if this has been posted before.

But yeah I don't get to watch many Bucks games cos I'm down here in Melbourne, Australia, but when I do watch, I often am disappointed with what Redd brings. I compare him to other franchise players and he doesn't stack up favourably with most of them. That said, I reckon he is a great shooter, but I just reckon if he is the best player on your team, you are probably gonna struggle a bit. I saw one game earlier this year where he took it to Kobe, but that type of performance is too few and far between.

What did he say last week after having hardly any shot attempts "I just stood there waiting...patient" or something like that. WTF?!?! I didn't like that statement at all. First of all, maybe he should make some effort and do some off the ball things to help his team and maybe he should realise that the game does not revolve around him. you got bogut in some career form, and you're complaining about having to wait for the ball. how about when you get the ball, you feed it into bogut. heck, it would give you an easier shot, potentially, if they collapse on him. cos yes, bogut, unlike you, actually passes the ball when someone is in a better position. I want to trade Redd now, with that attitude.

But I was wondering - which teams out there do you think would take Redd? Does anyone want him? Would the Cavs take him? I would love Larry Hughes on the Bucks - but not his contract. Anyone else?

We have a great young frontcourt nucleus, which always will take a bit of time to develop. Bogut, Yi and CV I all believe in, especially the first two. I think Mo Will has his heart in the right place. If we can somehow pull a trade swapping Redd for either a quality wing-man who is already a 2nd/3rd option on another team (so he doesn't think the world revolves around him) or a veteran solid big man or both, then this Bucks team could go places in the East. But I just wanna know, who would be interested in Redd?
