Would the Nets and Knicks ever consider dealing at all? let alone for Kidd?
Very simple: Marbury + Lee for Kidd.
Knicks save their season. Nets get a great building piece to put next to Sean Williams, and, gulp, IMO might actually be improved this year.

I doubt the Knicks would do that but I'd actually consider that , I love Lee's game.

I don't think anyone's saying the Nets can't make the playoffs, but seriously, what is the benefit (long or short term) of getting the 7th or 8th seed and being blasted by BOS or DET?
