Elton Brand said in an interview during Monday's telecast that he's actually dunked in practice and that his rehab from an Achilles' injury is going very well. He says he's still not moving laterally and hasn't started playing one-on-one yet, and won't have a timetable on his return until those two things happen. Late February sounds like a real possibility.

I'll pick him up in one of my leagues. The league i'm going to pick him up in is so dead that I could get him a day before his return.

I'm not so sure If I should pick him up. Clippers are not going to make the playoffs, so why not just rest Brand the whole year and get a high lotto pick.

I also think late February is still early, I'm thinking mid March.

If you're in a 12 team league, I guess you should pick him up.

I've checked in just about every league I'm in since about a week ago, he's not on the waivers. Which could explain why other teams are doing miserably.
