Jason Kidd????

Post#1 » by ASH » Tue Jan 29, 2008 3:27 am

Should the suns go after him?

Would he want to come back?

What would we have to give up to get him?

This is what I would like to do.

Suns Trade

Amare
Banks
Skinner

Nets Trade

Kidd
S. Williams
Boone

Don't think the nets would do this. But would/should the suns?

The nets could probably find a better deal else where.

The Nets would LOVE if the Suns offered that. No way in hell do the Suns do it. Trade Amare for Jason Kidd? Are you kidding me?!

I'd like it if Kidd came back, but there's no feasible package that we could/should offer. His contract is ridiculously large, and he's clearly on the decline.

im tired of stupid morons on here, ash you must be the stupidest person on the face of this earth, why would the suns do anything close to that, give up 100% of our center position for someone that will be back-up to steve nash, a pot head thug and a scrub of a player in boone?

how bout you give sarver 50% of the nets share in the company and maybe he might consider a kidd (re-structured contract), jefferson (re-structured contract), 2 first round picks (not protected) for amare, and banks.

lmao and you have the nerve to say that the nets wouldnt do it, lol, you from pluto son?

amare is the best scoring big man in the WHOLE league, if his defense was 20% better, he would be mvp for like 5 straight years.

So we would have two future HoFer's on our team playing the same position?

I mean having Kidd and Nash on the court at the same time?

I highly doubt Kidd will want to come off the bench.

So PASS on this trade. I like having Nash. Plus he is MUCH cheaper than Kidd and flat out shoots lights out.

LOL,

Calm down guys. I was being sarcastic with the trade. Was just trying to spark some ideas!

It's funny to me how people rush to insults instead of a witty alternative!

Due to Kidd's salary, there's no trade we could come up with without including a starter.

A deal based around Barbosa/Marion/Banks/filler for Kidd/Jefferson works though, salary-wise...

Yikes.

That trade is average...I think NJ would cream their pants if somehow they turned Kidd into Amare (it might be a lot closer than others think, Williams will be a beast if he stays away from the green stuff)

The only reason to trade for Jason Kidd is to keep Dallas and the asshol...err Lakers from getting him.

We need to cockblock both teams or look into helping J Kidd land on a team in the east.

I'm not trading Amare for anything less than Dwight Howard, Chris Paul (when we don't have Nash anymore), LeBron James, or Tim Duncan.

That's it.

Truth is we don't have anything to offer the Nets they would want outside of our core.

I'll admit I was thinking about it enough yesterday to plug something into the trade checker. Matrix + Banks for Kidd works. Hell Matrix straight up for Kidd works in the checker.

It would be scary losing Matrix this late in the season but if you look at Jkidds numbers they are still totally ridiculous. 11.3/8.3/10.4 in 37 minutes. That is sick. He would probably come off the bench here but could still play 30+ minutes. We would certainly hang in there when Nash sits.

Oh well, it'l never happen.

We all get it Ash, but for some reason, I kind of think you were kind of serious with your first trade.

Anyway, no way the suns trade for him. We can't afford it. I would love to have him here tho. If the suns land him, the only way is if he comes to terms in a buy out, and signs for peanuts to play with
