PG: Raptors Lose in D.C.

Post#1 » by ohhla2000 » Wed Jan 30, 2008 2:45 am

Just a bad performance tonight, even with the crazy finish. No excuses for how we came out in the second half, No way we deserved this win. Mitchell better rip into them tonight. The lack of rebounding on this team is startling, Wizards don't exactly have a murder's row on the frontline. Thoughts on a few players

Bargnani
What is left to say about this guy? How many chances does he needs? Shooting, dribbling, rebounding. What has he done for this team in the past two month? Teammates can not be happy seeing this guy wasting minutes. I don't think this guy will ever get the NBA game. Ugh..

Bosh
Cooled of in the second half a little but we are lucky to have this guy. 37-12 with 14 free throws to boot. You know it kills him to work his tail off as basically the only rebounder on this team. Undoubtedly a top 10 player in the league

Moon
Useless tonight. Sometimes he looks like a NBA starter, sometimes he looks like he belongs back in the CBA. If he had a consistent jumpshot, he would be a star.

Humphries
Good game tonight. Love his rebounding and work ethic. Right now its not even a debate as to who should start. Hollinger gave this guy props and deservingly so. Amazing that he only plays 14 minutes a game.

Parker
Unbelievable shot... but he was complete crap the rest of the game. I dont worry about AP though, hes a solid vet in this league

The Bench
Awful. Chuckfino, Kapono, Rasho all of them just terrible. Considering we are paying these three guys 15 million combined Ide say this is a problem.

This sucks. Gotta be a team like the Wiz without Butler and Arenas. Did you see who they where trotting out? Mason, Songolia, Mcguire (even though he was great tonight) these guys are all bench guys who would not see the floor on our team.

Delfino was the worst player on the court--just disastrous on both ends. AP sucked big time outside of that 3.

Rebounds man, rebounds.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Goodnight gentlemen, a better result will come with tomorrow night's game.

I hope.

For Raps to consistently win Bargnani needs to play well.. He's the key.

Also Raptors need to learn how to rebound what the hell...
