jalen rose says KG isn't hurt...
on espn2 just now coast to coast, they were talking about the celtics...and jalen rose made a point about KG and his injury.
they showed the video when KG was going crazy after the twolves game & how that was after his injury. jalen rose said that he doesnt think KG's that hurt b/c if he could defend like that & go crazy like that, then he could play. he says doc is just resting some of the players now to get ready for the long haul.
what do you think?
i think KG is injured b/c there's no way he'd be sitting out if he was ok. i'm sure its nothing really serious, but if he's hampered a lil bit by it, there's no point in making it worse by playing him in a few meaningless games now. give him rest, & let him heal his knees which has been bothering him the last few years & rest his abdoman.

Although the opportunity to rest KG is something that I privately suspected,
and deliberately skipping the Orlando game perhaps orchestrated by Danny Ainge or Doc,
for a television commentor to cast aspersions against the integrity of a player or coach or executive is irresponsible and unethical.
For us posters, well, we can rant anonymously.
Let's hope that Ray Allen is OK for Thursday's game,
and KG doesn't have any abdominal strains.
When Paul Pierce jumps on KG's back and KG carried Pierce for a few steps (happened more than once this season), I cringe that KG will strain his abdomen or groin.

jalen is hilarious. i doubt kg is really hurting. but if he's pissed, boo hoo, they won without him anyway. lol.
this will do wonders for the confidence of people like rondo and powe, to have the big 3 not play or play badly like pp and still win big is amazing!
this team is just good defensively that they can keep games close without a star. heck, allen has had his worst season in years and this team is still winning like crazy!

he's actually mad he's not playing! wow! how many players actually get mad about something like that!
amazing. did anyone catch why he wasn't in a suit with the team on the sidelines. when baby and ray were hurt one game, i remember them wearing nice suits on the bench!
maybe he forget his suit!

Someone said that he was so frustrated about not being able to play that he stayed in the locker room, not sure how accurate that is.sarah42 wrote:he's actually mad he's not playing! wow! how many players actually get mad about something like that!

next time he's forced to sit out, i hope he matures a little and sits on the sidelines to cheer his teammates.
i'm sure he would have been a great cheerleader for this game. was ray hiding out too? if he had the flu, duh? i would too!
not saying he was immature, but i really want to see what kind of suit he wears. is he flashy like wade and oakley? does he wear pink like lebron?
things like that matter to me most!

a great cheerleader for the team?!?!?!
wow, KG seriously cannot win. when he's on the bench & is yelling & screaming for his teammates, he gets criticized by people like you, but now when he's hurt & upset he cant play & prolly doesnt wanna be bothered by sideline reporters, he gets criticized for not being a good teammate?
wow
btw, jalen needs to pop that pimple

i'm glad they're not rushing KG back, or making Ray play sick. seriously, we have the best record in the league by 4 games. there is no reason to wear our guys out for some midseason game.
i wouldn't be surprised if KG is out Thursday too. ray gotta down some theraflu and usnea, he should be good to go.

Let's entertain the conspiracy theory for a minute here. Say he isn't hurt that bad and they just want him to rest. It would be a very tough sell to KG. You'd probably have to really enforce how it could help towards the greater goal of a title. Even then he's not going to take it well. Probably so poorly that he couldnt' even make it out to the court from frustration and even a little because he felt like he was letting his teammates down. Now we know he didn't make it out to the court and we know Doc said he was not very happy at all. That's a lot of assuming to connect the dots. If they were just sitting him that's how it would have to go down.
Well that was fun. You're welcome Oliver Stone.

Jalen Rose: The Western Conference Finals will be between the Mavs and the Suns.
Bill Walton: WHAT? Are the Suns still paying you?
Jalen Rose: Yeah, under the table.
Bill Walton: Ah, just like at Michigan.
Beautiful. :)
