how can a front line of powe and big baby be killing us like this?
Not having a high lottery pick would be even worse. At least with another high lottery pick there is a foundation towards a youth movement.

Just got back from the second half watching it in the gym. and I must second the call of how we look. I swear I've seen more cohesive offense in my level of league. There is just no game plan. Wade isn't trying to attack any more, and no one else has any ability. Ricky Davis seems determined to perform up and under reverses when a regular layup will do.
We are just simply ridiculous. Wade needed this game to stop him talking about the playoffs. Next step is to shut it down for the season.

Yeah, I kind of agree that the instant impact of the draft is somewhat overrated. But the long term effects, that no one really talks about, could be of great benefit. We might have two years hitting the draft. Lets say this year we get a top 3 pick. Next year a 7 to 10 th pick. Then we have a a young core of very talented players, then Shaq's contract no longer in the books. Hopefully Wade comes back, and even gets better. I could see that year really being the begining of something special with Wade, another All Star with Shaq's money off the books, then two young players do to the draft, with some experience the third pick with a full two years under his wing. We have to start planning for the year Shaq no longer hinders us with his contract, that is two years and half from know.radikalBaller wrote:i'm not even sure if a high lotery pick would solve anything now.
