I'm already missing his shot.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

YEA...but com'on, ..personally i'm waiting for the PO, you know, ..andrea is the typical clutch player, who raises up at his best in the hardest games.

i'm confident, and not cause i'm italian....i usually watch a lot of nba games, and i already think that andrea could be something special.

call me mad, but he has a lot of weapons, all his weaknesses are only one common denominator : "psycological issue"

he's like a common euro player, who hasn't already realized how HE CAN.

he's unsure about himself, he doesn't know how to use his POTENTIAL.

from what i remember, it's clear to me that andrea played great games when the games were GREAT.

i mean,...yea, david west for example or lamarcus aldridge, they're able to put stats over stats...but the have the X FACTOR??

i have criticised almost every aspect of andrea's game, i could say i'm disappointed like you too....

but an aspect about him that i will never criticise is the ability to STAY MENTALLY TOUGH when the game counts ...and man, that's an amazing gift.

why do you think he's been selected 1th overall?...was he so good to be selected as the first??..no, absolutely not.

colangelo in not stupid...he saw something about andrea that trespass the standard judgment meter (standard for example..he's athletic ..no!, he can rebound ..no! ..etc..)

I'm getting sick of people saying we need a definsive big or a more physical player. We already have HUMP and RASHO and they fit those roles perfectly.

The reason we got killed on the boards last night was because of the switchs that were happening when the Wizards ran their offense. Almost every time the wizards had the ball either Bosh or Hump ended up on the perimeter after a switch leaving Kapono and Parker to rebound.

Maybe BC can get in on some of that Kidd to Dal action and somehow get Diop here

More important than simply getting a 'defensive big', it is essential that a player has the requisite skillset to work within our system.

Someone who doesn't fit into our offense would completely destroy our flow and end up hurting us more than helping us. So it's not always a case of getting a bruiser but rather a player that is a) compatible within our sytem AND b) brings the specific skills we need.

That's why Garbo was such a great fit.

I agree. I've been thinking about this for a while. For the Bosh and Andrea to maximize their full scoring potential they would both need the ball. This i believe has started being an issue since this recent offensive burst by Bosh. I did not think Bosh had the ability to score so well adn so effeciently. I always thought that Bosh would be the 20-10 effecient offensive beast who will give you great defense(eventually). But with his latest scoring ability i think you can maximize him even more with a defensive big who allows Bosh to focus more on offense and pick it up defensively at the end of games. I know with the way the team is constructed and the system in place you will always need shooters and scorers but i can;t help to think how much of a positive impact someone liek Moon has had on our over all team defense. He has provided that extra defense which we lack from our 5. having someone like Sammy D ( who i am personally not a huge fan off) i think will allow us to play less help defense on the perimetre and allow both Sammy and Bosh to share the defensive assignment in the paint. I beleive Moon, Parker, Delfino and TJ (when he gets pack) are very good- excellent at stopping penetration. Not soo much Moon as he is more of a recover and block kinda player but the other three do really well at keeping in front.

Again i am a huge Bargs fan and i personally think Bargs and Bosh can still work in the furutere but if a deal is available to get Sammy for say Juan + Joey and Rasho we should go for it. Puts us in cap issues but gives us ability to play really well now and still allow Bargs to improve for the next few years. We always have our picks and expiring contracts of AP and Garbo next year to get someone else to compliment our team.

Let's forget about the stellar play of Bosh and Calderon for a moment and look at the impact Bargnani has had on the team. Sure, he rebounds like the biggest pansy in the history of the universe but the team wins despite his complete ineptitude and total lack of effort and skill on the floor.

The fact still remains the Raptors have been more successful with Bargnani than without so we need to keep that all in mind. Perhaps it is due to the fact he can completely disappear while on the floor which allows others to shine brightly. There has been plenty of discussion about the team
