Bargnani over Craig is unbelievable. I guess draft position is more important for this than playing well.

After looking at the rosters, I can't really argue with that decision.

Same way Al will be snubbed for All-star. The team record and the market is always considered. The rookie/soph game is a publicity thing to get casual viewers to notice young talent. So guys on winning teams and in bigger markets will get picked.

me neither, the rosters are right

Scola and Navarro on the rosters is kinda stupid though. Thats like a really dumb 24 year old who's been held back a half dozen times making the highschool JV team.

if you average more rebounds per game than your teams has wins you get no all star consideration

Same with Jamario Moon.

*I was checking how old they were and saw that Moon and Navarro were born on the same day and year.

to be honest, nobody outside of minnesota really gives a care about that smith guy, while bargnani is way more recognisable.

I bet you that a large portion of the front offices in the league are very aware of who "that smith guy" is.

Excuse us for thinking that recognition be dolled out based on play and not how recognisable [sic] a player is.

smith belongs on the sophmore team

complaining about brewer not being chosen tho? good lord, the kid has been atrocious..he belongs in the D-League for a year or two..looking at the rookie team, who on that team hasnt at least played 10 times better than brewer all season long? the answer is nobody..no brewer, no complaints..plus brewer in a rookie allstar game setting? passing the ball into the third row, airballing wide open shots, and dribbling the ball off his feet? doesnt belong in this game

durant, moon, and williams are gonna be alot of fun to watch in this game

The roster is reasonable.

Al should be on the All-star team however as a backup at least.

well I wouldn't go that far and say that brewer belongs into the D-league but he's definitely not as good as the participants of the rooks vs sophs game. not even close

but he's far from being a D-League player

Brewer being out is fine. Craig Smith not getting in there is garbage. 9.8 points and 4.7 rebounds a game. He has been in a slump lately but he has had big scoring nights. He would school 80 percent of the players in that rooki/soph game down low as well. He deserves a spot. He was upset about being snubbed last year, well it happened again.

I think most people would agree Millsap has shown more than Smith thus far. Milsap is actually a decent defensive player as well.

Bargnani should definately be on there. I think they look at the entire body of work of the past season and a half. Wasn't he the runner up for ROY last year? I had him on my fantasy team all year and he was pretty consistent for awhile.

On a side note, who votes for these? The league? Coaches? Execs?

I don't have a problem with the selcetions, but I'd like to point out that in an NBA who is always thinking about marketing, Bargnani is not going to be kicked out for Craig Smith.

Bargnani is not marketable.
