Even if they landed J-Kidd?

Kidd/Howard/Dirk/Artest is a very nice core.

If Dallas could somehow manage to get J.Kidd using Terry as the main piece then getting Artest for them would solidify their team.

A possible

Kidd/Jaun
Howard/Garcia
Artest/Hassell
Dirk/Thomas
Dampier/Bass

Give them another summer, for signing some free agents and the team could be the 09 favorites. Given the fact that Cuben will spend whatever is necessary to win a ring.

But getting Harris, allows the King's to focus on getting a PF in the draft. Also forcing the Kings to trade Bibby before the deadline as well, which would give us possibily a 7-10 draft range. Good enough in finding a future PF.

Oh how good it is to be back among my fellow kings fans...Missed the gang!

with that intro being said, I actually agree with denied. Givin that you give that lineup a chance, with a few offseason signings that could very well be their best chance yet at a champ.

I could see them having enough for moves. I think a deal centered around Terry, Diop, filler, and first could get something done. Then I think a deal centered around Artest and Harris could get done for the Kings. In the Kings deal I wouldnt even have to move KT to be happy, since we would be getting Harris.

Terry doesn't fit with Carter and Jefferson in the short or long-term. It's talented, but not that compatible of a trio.

Then you have Terry's contract.

Then with Kidd gone, then you have the Nets increasing their rebuild for 2010 when they debut in Brooklyn.
Yeah I think they would probably want Harris more, but arent they pretty high on Marcus Williams? If so, then I could see something else working out.

On second though, I think I'd do the original deal as is.
