NBA Game Night (Jan 30) - Cleveland wins a thriller, TO 5th

Post#1 » by Maritimer » Thu Jan 31, 2008 12:24 am

I basically wanted to start this thread to point out that Miami is starting Jason Williams, RickyDavis, Luke Jackson, Dorrell Wright and Mark Blount tonight. That's just putrid.

I would love to see CP3 vs. Baron.

The showdown.

Hahaha. You know you have a depleted roster when Luke Jackson starts. LOL.

This is truly sad. Everyone talked about how the Knicks lose badly against the Celtics a month ago, I think this is worth a mention too. The Bucks should be better than this, but they quit playing tonight. Just quit.

Excellent use of the word putrid.

I was thinking the same thing. What's up with that? I didn't think they'd make the playoffs, but I didn't expect this.

Cleveland Loss Tonight = 4th Place

Post#14 » by undisputed55 » Thu Jan 31, 2008 3:36 am

I was on ESPN and was checking the standings. Our record is 25-20 while Cleveland sits at 24-19. Above them is Orlando at 29-18. I think that with our easy schedule and with Cleveland's injuries to Varejao and Pavlovic we can create some separation and maybe even start looking at knocking Orlando out of the top 3. After the Lakers on Friday we have 3 must wins against Miami, the Clips, and the Twolves. This is our time to show the league we can be a top 3 team in the east.

"easy schedule" ? Nothing is easy in Raptorland.
