Let's discuss players from the Sonics

Post#1 » by 13-32 » Thu Jan 31, 2008 12:58 am

The Sonics intrigue me because they are obviously looking to make some moves at the deadline and they have alot of players that could fit our system

Petro - 7 Footer who plays decent defense and is quite skilled offensively, starting to add a solid jumpshot - I'd like him here

Luke Ridnour - Heres a guy who has always interested the Suns as the ideal backup to Nash..Has actually regressed since Nate Mcmillin left but is still very talented and would be perfect here IMO -- I'd defintely throw the ATL pick in a package to get him

KT - Doubt he'll be coming back here :(

Chris Wilcox - Still very young and is talented but the Sonics are stacked with big men and will probably need to make a descision to let some of these big bodies go at some point - Would the ATL Pick interest them ?

sene, swift, watson, west, wilkins

they have alot of intriguing players

regarding petro - isnt he a teammate of boris' on the french national team? if so, and we got him, maybe having a fellow countryman would assist with his development?

ridnour would be a good nash backup

We can't cut a deal for any Sonic that will help us this yr.... ie: Wilcox, Collison, Ridenour...and there is no point in dealing that Atl pick for anything but that.
What ? Me Worry ?

I would trade the ATL pick right away for Wilcox....can you imagine him with Nash?

Sweet.

NO!!!! You people that think ridnour is a player are wrong. he is an absolute joke, should not even be in the league. the guy cant shoot, can complete a pass but trades 4 turnovers and passes up 4 better options for every 1 good assist. he is awful and i told him as much to his face a week ago when the sonics played the rockets here. i heckled him mercilessly from the 5th row and all the fans around me just laughed. my god, ridnour SUCKS.

the only sonic worth acquiring is kevin durant. the rest of the roster is immensely overpaid (KT, Weezy) or just plain scrubs. (And yet they still beat the hapless spurs last night)

Return to Phoenix Suns
