bye bye playoffs if that happens. Outlaw is Mr. Clutch for them. Devin Harris is a whiny little turd who'd be horrible on a bad team.

im just saying he's clutch. not that he's unguardable. That team relies on it's shooters. So to get rid of Outlaw's midrange game, Jack's 3 pt shot and Frye's mid range.. That's giving up a lot of shots.

Portland is definitely looking at the future..I don't see how they would really need Outlaw in the future when Oden comes back..Harris gives them a reliable PG, unlike Jack or Blake..Travis Outlaw doesn't play like a role player, so I wouldn't mind it..they get rid of contracts too..Harris, Roy, Aldridge and Oden in your starting lineup is a pretty crazy future..

ESPN has confirmed that exact proposed trade and put it up on the board. When they put it on the "board" there's usually definite legitamacy to it.

Remind me again why Portland would want to help Dallas get Jason Kidd for Jerry Stackhouse and Devan George? Makes little-to-no sense in my opinion. Portland would be getting the VERY short-end of this deal. Outlaw is not old, he's 23. If you think he's reached his peak, you're fooling yourself. In terms of value I would put Outlaw right next to Harris. Why bother adding in Frye and Jack?

Anyone who thinks Portland is going to do that deal is mentally challenged.

Yup. Just like the Pryzbilla for Cassell trade and Jack for Hughes.

^^^ Well no one said it was going to happen. Just that it was proposed. It probably was. Don't expect Portland to accept that though.

Portland's GM is way too smart to get fleeced like that...

Portland not going to trade 3 young guys for Devin Harris.

it isn't that bad of a trade..it isn't good, but it isn't bad..

Travis Outlaw is good and all, but he isn't a role player..Portland is going to have Roy, Alridge AND Oden..those are 3 guys that are going to be getting a good amount of shots..Outlaw could always come off the bench as the 6th man, but it just appears that Portland really wants a legit starting PG for now and the future, which Jack doesn't give them..they need role players, not guys that are going to put up shots IMO..

you can always find bench and role players in free agency..Harris is a pretty good PG, and will get better, so it isn't that bad of a trade..

I just don't understand why New Jersey wouldn't want Harris instead.
