I wouldn't put too much weight in what Colangelo says about outbound players. Dude has a silver tongue to match his brilliant basketball acumen. If he really was that high on Charlie, he'd still be a Raptor. It just isn't right to kick a person when they're down and out.

cv>hump imo. he's a pretty good rebounder and has a much better offensive game. defense is meh but he can block some shots. bring him back.

No doubt he's >>> than Hump, but that's not saying much. He will also earn more than Hump.

He is a good guy but yea he seems to get shafted alot. CV is probably thinking in his mind that his career as a Buck could be over soon as he figured in Toronto. Like he said, he probably figured that him being a Raptor could be done when the Raptors drafted another PF in Bargnani. Now on the Bucks, CV probably felt he could be on his way out when the Bucks drafted another PF in Yi. Kinda feel sorry for his situation, his rookie year looked so promising, but he is starting to fade away.

"great city, love the people so far, i hope to finish my career here" is surely the only talking point he has when trade time rolls around.

funny. based on this post i bet he's actually quite a bit smarter than you. (vocabulary aside)

^^ ditto.

What is a talking point? Am I the only one who has never heard this expression before?

Charlie is way better than Humphries. Joey + Hump for CV would be a good move. Especially since were getting Roko over here in the summer...

I find it more incredible that CV came 2nd in ROY voting in a year that featured Paul, Bogut, 2 Williams, Felton, Frye, Bynum, Granger, and Lee. Based on hindsight, you can make a case for taking any of those players over CV.

It seems that Charlie is really attached to Toronto:

As I walked into the Four Season Hotel on Yorkville, I had at least 10 different folks, from hotel staff to hotel guests, greeting me with sayings like

He rebounds and has great hands around the basket. I'd throw Hump and Graham at him in a split second to get him in a Raps uniform.

I would definitely like to see CV in a Raps jersey again. The guy can play ball and put the ball in the basket which is a valuable skill. I know there are plenty of people that are down on CV but then again they probably were fans of Patrick O'Bryant.

I could see Charlie going to Minnesota. Him and Jefferson would make a pretty darn good frontcourt.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.
