Hey buddy, you've been hassling me on this board with your racist anti sun yue (and anti asian bballers) remarks since the day I joined this board. Please don't bring that stuff up again because it is very immature. The mods are on the alert this time and will ban you.

Haha!

Oh man, not this again.

The mods won't ban me cuz...
1) I've never harassed you: show me the quote
2) I've never said anything racist: you can dig up any quote I've ever made and prove me wrong.
3) I'm in good standings with every mod on here

EE actually warned you against making these accusations if you recall.

Dude, just don't be so sensitive about Sun Yue.

If he's the next Magic Johnson I'll party with you after his first triple double.

Can we please get back on topic? Whatever happened in the past is forgiven. Can't we all just get along and cheer for our team together?

ESPN's John Hollinger via the NY Sun wrote:
Only a few teams can play in that ballpark, so coming up with a trade partner could prove difficult. The Nets are asking for expiring contracts, draft picks, and young talent, but they may have to settle for two out of three.

In the past 48 hours, four possible trade partners have come up repeatedly: Cleveland, Denver, Dallas, and the Lakers. As we're about to see, each one has hurdles that could be insurmountable.

For Dallas, the biggest obstacle is the simple fact that the Mavs don't really need any help at the point. While Kidd would love to go back to where his career began and have a shot at a championship, Dallas' current duo of Devin Harris and Jason Terry are doing quite well, thanks. Thus, there's no urgency on Dallas's part to replace them, especially with a more expensive player. Basically, this looks like a serious long shot.

Cleveland seems only slightly less likely. While the Cavs can easily come up with enough flotsam to offset Kidd's contract, none of those deals expires until the summer of 2009, so the Nets don't save any money. Additionally, the only keeper they could put into a deal is forward Drew Gooden, an effective player, but one who doesn't move pulses in the league's front offices.

In Denver's case, the lure of a Kidd-Iverson backcourt is strong; they're a perfect pairing because they can cross-match on defense and complement each other offensively. But the Nuggets have a problem coming up with $20 million to offset Kidd's contract.

The only way they could do it would be to include Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Kenyon Martin, or Nene in the trade. Including Iverson or 'Melo would be idiotic from Denver's end

I will take a BIG 4 of Kidd, Kobe, LO and Bynum over any team in the league.

I would love to keep Ariza and I think the nets could use Critt over Farmar because Marcus Williams is there future and Critt could be a combo guard for them.

That team would rule the west.

Oh and El Hardee... you need to limit the post to 3 paragraphs and post a link. And if its ESPN Insider we need to remove it. Thanks

I doubt we deal with you guys if the Portland Dallas NJ trade is being discussed seriously, we get much better value with that trade than they do just dealing directly with the Lakers.

I highly doubt Kidd goes to LA...my money is on the Blazers.

Ya, I just can't see Cuban signing off on trading Harris at this point.

I could be wrong though.

And I'm not sure if Portland's willing to give up Travis Outlaw either.

Assuming Hollinger's hunch is right, I think this squad wins a championship as early as next season:

PG: Kidd / Fisher / Critt
SG: Kobe / Sasha
C: Bynum / DJ/Mihm short-term, Kwame resigned after this season (MLE)
SF: Radman / Walton
PF: Odom / Turiaf

its not even about the dallas mavericks....portland would be a fool to get rid of travis outlaw....i would take him over jason kidd. he is the reason they are winning all the games. its not brandon roy. channing frye i can see but jarrett jack i dont see. this deal just does not make sense for portland. portland takes in a point guard who is better than jarrett jack but at $7 mil. i dont think so. the mavs. jason kidd is better than devin harris but that much better when you consider his age and he only will be around 2-3 years. i dont see why dallas does it. they need stackhouse. i think that trade is a bunch of bull. next.

crazyeights, I think you took what I said completely the wrong way. I could be wrong, but there's an undercurrent there that I don't really want to tap into. Don't want to get caught up in that.

Sorry if I don't respond to your comments, but I'd like to keep this thread about a discussion of basketball.

In response to your accusations that I'm "celebrating Bynum's injury" or that I'm "insane over Kobe," I'll just say this: that's pretty disappointing to hear.
