trade John Salmons and possibly a filler, for TJ Ford? Calderon is playing great but Ford is a starting point guard in this league, not a back up. Plus Colangelo expressed interest in John over the summer, and they need a 2 guard. Ford would be a nice young pg at 24...take the risk, even if injury prone?

I'd rather trade Artest than Salmons or Garcia.

It makes more sense for the long term plans of the team, however I'm not totally opposed to trading Salmons or Garcia for the right deal.

It's not totally clear to me whether or not TJ Ford would be that right deal or not though.

I would probably trade any of our SF's for Ford. Ironically I think that, at least on RealGM, that Ron may have more value in a S&T than he does right now, because of the uncertainty of possibly signing him.

I'm not a Ford fan. I like him, he's a good PG, but overall don't love him, and don't like him enough for us.
