I wish we could see some snow over here on the West Slope...At least a couple inches that will stick..Only time I've seen the snow stick this year over here was Christmas...That was great though....

So you guys got all the snow that they thought would hit Seattle last night. Had a few flakes this afternoon, but nothing much. Good chance for more overnight though. Good thing I work from home tomorrow.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Why did I know before I read this that A) this was about the weather and B) someone would bring up Eric Snow???

Because no one has done it yet, I'm going "Better Off Dead" with this--this thread is pure snow! Do you know what the street value of this thread is????

Aw man. This is stupid. My school is the only school not to cancel or delay school.

Not only is it not fair, it's not safe for drivers.

Sounds like Eugene is supposed to get some more snow today and then possibly 1-3 inches tonight. We'll see. So far the weather channels down here have been wrong both times. Saturday night was no mention whatsoever of snow, Sunday night was to expect almost the exact same as yesterday

Yeah possibility for up to four inches here, but it is not currently snowing. Although I can hear cars sliding along the ice down the road.

Ugg, yeah. We parked our car in the back of a parking lot to hopefully avoid the crazies that were out and about. Luckily we have a permit to park there so we won't get towed, but at this point it's almost better for that to happen than to get smacked into in a hit and run.

I think you should consider calling you're principal's residence and leaving a voice mail message for him about it. With any luck, his wife will call back and leave a little message for you as well. Just don't post it on youtube...

I'm going skiing tomorrow at Snoqualmie Pass. They'll have had somewhere around 40" of snow in the previous 48 hours by then.

If I never come back, it will be because I got buried by an avalanche.

Good luck getting there. I90 has been closed at North Bend for the better part of 2 days due to avalanches and avalanche control.

Edit:
Snoqualmie Pass remains closed due to extreme winter conditions from milepost 34 near North Bend to milepost 106 near Ellensburg. The pass will remain closed for at least the next 24 hours. Due to wet, heavier snow, the avalanche threat has increased. Friday, Feb. 1, at 9 a.m. is the earliest WSDOT will be able to assess the effects of this storm and our ability to reopen the pass. WSDOT will continue to update the Web page with the most current information about the conditions on the pass. // Snowing with areas of poor visibility
