Rookie Scoring Record

Post#1 » by thanumba2clippersfan » Thu Jan 31, 2008 7:08 pm

I know that Thornton was on fire last night. I wonder if being sick has something to do with it.

Anyways, I was curious if anyone knows what's the most points a Clippers rookie has scored in a game. Thornton scored 33 last night and I remember that in Lamar Odom's first game he scored 30. But I'm sure if Thornton broke the record someone would have said something.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Ralph Lawler said it was 39 pts by Tom Chambers and Terry Cummings.

if you all want to know the reason he scored so much i will tell you...

it was because he was the main option! plain and simple he is a shooter and does not shy away from flickin it. he was hottt and i think if he picks up his rebounds and assists he can become an all star in the next couple years. and i love al's defense, he is long and athletic. BEAUTIFUL!

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
