The charges were dropped on Givens, I think he and the family reached some sort of financial deal before his trial. Givens was guilty as hell, those emails/text messages were pretty damning.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

The "victim" was very shaky too....credibility was an issue.

I never caught wind of any settlement though.

Still, ugly.

C'mon SVG, no reason why Redick didn't play at least 10 mins. :banghead: Wade was out of the game.

Our team disrespected the Heat so bad that they did'nt feel it was necessary to actually try until the 4th quarter so SVG could'nt play JJ. Howard spent most of the 1st 2 quarters laughing. He did'nt get mad until he felt he was'nt getting his touches, but it was funny that the fans paid money to watch him play and he did'nt car about that. Sure he got his numbers but his approach to the game was terrible, and a nat could have slapped the ball out of his hands. He must not have alot of strength in his hands. Also he seems to be getting that arrogant all star attitude lately. I know the bible say's something about pride. Like Pride comes before a fall, but I think Howard may be straying from those princaples a little. I know nobody is perfect but I think the super stardom may be making his head a little big, but hey I'm not a christian so what does it matter.

Again, this is not true. The entire team (except Keyon) was a little lackadaisical and kind of trudged through the game until the Heat closed the gap to three points early in the fourth quarter. It definitely wasn't their best effort, but it was like that from the get-go. It didn't have anything to do with touches.

Did they play as well as they were capable. Well, no, not in that particular game. But they pretty much had for the entire week before that.

Am I hoping that they take the Sixers seriously on Friday? You bet because that athletic team can beat them if they don't.

You're just looking to stir up something over something that is totally your own interpretation. My favorite part is how you start out saying that the real problem you had with it, even though the Magic won by 16 and it wasn't particularly close for most of the night, is because J.J. didn't get to play because of it.
