Hedo doesnt qualify for MIP because he's outside of the years in league limit, which i think is 6 or so...rurouniad wrote:If your list is the actual order of snubs it would be David Camby and then Turk...in my opinion there are arguably better players in the East then Turk.
However he definitely is in the lead for MIP in my opinion. That goal is much more realistic right now.

i know he had barely a chance at all but seriously the magic are a head of washington and they have two guys in and celtics have two guys in and the pistons have two guys in... PUT HEDO IN
i agree, the distance between the seasons that hedo, jamison, and butler are having isnt much...since they are all having good seasons, maybe reward the player on the team with the better record..

First how all; How the **** does Richard Hamilton make the all-star team? Are the guards in the East really that pathetic?
Did he get a spot OVER Hedo, or do the different positions make it a non-factor? And Joe Johnson? His team sucks!
Lame, but I knew Doc Rivers was too much of a moron to make the right decisions.
Hell, I could argue Hedo over Pierce as well.

Really thats the first time I have heard of that kind of rule. It's a shame because I really think he is the leagues most improved player thus far.

yea position factor, 3 guards (hamilton, billups, johnson), and 4 forward/center (jamison, butler, pierce, bosh) reserves get selected..i think hedo could of, or should of, made it over jamison

Doc didn't pick the reserves. The East coaches voted on them.
By the way, the Sentinel has a poll if you guys want to vote.

He responded by naming Hedo, and complimenting how the Magic have gelled so fast, etc.
Toronto fans are actually really pissed about how Bosh mentioned Hedo and not Jose. Either way, Joe Johnson making it over both Jose and Hedo is just terrible and lazy selection making by the coaching staff. Johnson, despite putting up 21, is shooting 40% and has 2.6 turnovers per game on a losing team.
