I have no problem with the way KG acted after the game. He is the most intense competitor in the NBA. He yells, he barks, he swears... If he wasn't the way he is he would never have been my favorite player. Did it sting to see him flaunting his jersey? Sure. Was it important for him to beat his former team? Absolutely. He has no allegiance to this franchise anymore, only the fans and we'll see that when he's in town.

Just avoided what would've been a huge upset. Sure it's not a big deal for the best team to beat the worst team, but imagine how embarrassing it would've been for the best team to lose to the worst team. There had been trash talking going both ways for most of the game. He only had like 5 or 6 shots the entire game. He got hurt and had to miss 4 minutes in the 4th quarter, and had to beg to get back into the game. And now almost a week later he hasn't played in another game, so he surely wasn't physically ok to be in the game, he was just playing on adrenaline. And he's in a situation where they haven't proven anything already. Sure they've got the best record, but it's not like they're the Spurs or Pistons where they have consistently been a top team. What happens in the regular season really doesn't matter for those teams, but it does for Boston. Factor all that in and I think it's pretty reasonable for him to be enthusiastic after getting a steal to seal the win.

Yes, I rolled my eyes at what I saw as over the top behavior. As I've said in every single one of my posts on the subject, that behavior was understandable, for many of the reasons you spelled out in your post. I don't have a problem with him being enthusiastic, I felt the manner in which he expressed that enthusiasm went over the top.

That's my opinion. I'm not demonizing him for it and I'm not insisting that you share it.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Damn, this topic is STILL alive?

In that case, does anyone have a clip of Big Al's "Dream Shake" on KG? I saw it during the game but would like to see it again. =)
