What's with the green Duke shirts the fans were wearing?

I was flipping through the channels & noticed that on ESPN its Duke & NC State that the fans were wearing green shirts. St. Patrick's day is a month in a half away. Anyone knew what was that about?

Clean up the earth and energy conservation but they took them off at halftime when duke was losing lol

It was for the environment. They were down 9 at halftime and half the Crazies took the green shirts off and chucked them onto the court. Duke proceeded to stomp N.C. State in the second half.
