Odom is definitely being traded, and it won't be a give away. They'll get something in return.

A friend of mine from JKidd's HS alma mater mentioned that Kidd was told to wait when he asked for an NJ trade, for the "dust to settle".

When I called him about this trade, he said it makes too much sense.

Odom + Farmar/Turiaf to NJ...

Its entirely possible that the Lakers are NOT finished.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. I don't see Dallas trading Devin Harris for Kidd, and the LA deal makes way too much sense. Don't think they'd include Turiaf, but Odom and Farmar for Kidd. :banghead:

Lakers add Gasol...
Warriors add Webber...

Nellie and Mullin need to put in more hours and get a star out here.

Kobe, Odom, Gasol, Bynum = nasty

Celtics and Lakers in 08....i guess

fcuk the league.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

Much to my chagrin, it could be another Lakers/Celtics finals.

one thing i've learned about l.a. fans & the franchise, is that they believe they have the right to the best players in the league to allow them to compete for a title no matter what the financial costs, no matter what the overall effects are to the conference. they have this attitude like they are God's gift to the NBA because of the championships they've won and the fact that they are in LA. it was a tragedy for them last year that they finished with the same record as the warriors and were eliminated before the dubs.

man this is a tough pill to swallow. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

apparently Mary, Jesus, and Joseph have been traded to the Lakers as well. Players to be named later.

Nothing like Lakers v. Celtics to rebound from those horrible Finals a year ago. Stern is an evil genius, the only problem is that I hate both of those teams. Too bad I can't root against the Lakers and the Celtics simultaneously.

If it's between the Celtics and the Lakers, I know who I hate most. Not even close.

What a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) trade by Memphis. Are they trying to hand the Lakers another title?!?!

Pisses me off. I am even more pissed if the Artest trade is true.

If this was fantasy league that trade would have been vetoed...

HOW DA F* do you turn Kwame into Paul?

Such BS.

And TE couldnt do crap?

You can argue we got Baron for cheap... but he was injured when purchased. HE WAS AN ACTUAL RISK.

I'd take Lakeshow over Celts...

Ainge benefitted from McFail shoveling KG over there... Kupchack stared a shotgun straight in the face and committed himself to Bynum... and he was dead on right.. they are building a golden shrine to him as we speak, he may in fact become the new NBA logo...

I appreciate a good, smart FO over luck... Lakers had some luck but not as much as BOS did. Glad to see at least one WC team with a chance at dominance in pro sports..

The only good thing (not that it is good) out of this stupid trade is hoping LAL goes into Salary hell and Bynum gets offered the max.

LAL is certainly going to have fun with salary cap accounting.

This totally kills the cwebb buzz. Gasol isnt having a great year, but thats gonna change playing alongside Kobe.

This locks the lakers in the playoffs for the next several seasons and the Warriors arent a lock at all. They found a goldmine of a trade just like how we found baron davis.
