mike miller/PG next to go?

Post#1 » by rly723 » Fri Feb 1, 2008 9:06 pm

apparently the golden state warriors have increased their pursuits for SF Mike Miller. Also with baron davis always an injury risk, they could be interested in one of Memphis 4 point guards. Grizzlies are targeting rookie power forward Wright and the expiring deals of Pietrus and O'Bryant.

I'd take Miller and a PG for Artest(who can opt out).

thIEf, as much as you want MM. I severely doubt he will be back in a Magic uniform.

Jason Kapono (3 years) and Rasho Nesterovic (1 year left after this season) and a first round pick for Mike Miller(3 years) and Brian Cardinal albatross contract(3years)??

That will set you guys up for some major cap-space when Collin's and rasho's contract expire in 2009.
In 2006, Orlando reported 42,300 violent crimes including 49 murders, a record number since 36 in 1982. Crime in Orlando has been up 329% since 2006.

The Hornets could use Miller and are in need of a top 6th man. I just don't know if we have what it would take. We have Bobby Jackson (1 year remaining after this year) and Rasual Butler (2 years at a modest $3 million a year) and maybe a pick.

If I had to guess, Miami would be the first location on my Miller trade list - there were rumors of Riley's interest earlier in the season and they possess a couple expirings (which seems to be enough now).

He meant to say Steve Novak. We are not dealing Landry.

This trade will work between Memphis and Golden State.

MMiller, Lowry, Jacobsen
for
Brandan Wright

Actual trade works like this
MMiller
for
TE

Then
Lowry, Jacobsen
for
Wright

This shaves another $7.66 million off of the cap next year!

This would leave the Grizz's cap number at roughly $33.8 million. This does not include re-signing Navarro and Warrick which would take about 10 million between the two of them. Still more than $12 million after signing the two of them plus the draft picks.
