It means Darko's finally got the spot he's wanted (only for half a year unless he meets some high expectations). Time for him to shine, or go down as the big bust he's been labeled.

I think it means that they want to develop Darko. He is only like 22. Look at this last game, 14 points, 16 rebounds, 5 block shots. He still has potential. MI was always known the Suns fans as the guy that developed Amare. He is known as a great teacher. They may be looking to go young to maximize MI's abilities.
