Holy *****. As much as I dislike the Lakers I have to say you fleeced Memphis. I guess it's karma, considering that we got Caron off you guys in exchange for Kwame.
Seriously, a tip of the hat to you front office staff. This is as one sided a trade as I've seen in a long time. Kwame is known garbage. I don't know all that much about Crittendon - but those 2008 and 2010 firsts should be in the 20's or worse.
Dang. I wonder if other GM's will now line up to run the train on Memphis. Will you trade us Rudy Gay for Etan Thomas's aorta?

I LOVE PAU AND HE'S NOW A LAKER.
But seriously wow. just wow. Our roster is ridiculous now. Does this have anything to do with Kobe talking to Pau over the summer? Mitch is the greatest gm in the fricken league! Gasol is the perfect triangle power forward and he can fill in at center perfect.
Exactly, Mitch gotta win Excutive of the Year.
It will come down to either him or Ainge

I dont see how they Dallas doesnt match up with them.
Bynum vs. Diop and Dampier ----maybe little advantage to lakers but depth wise advantage dallas
Gasol vs. Dirk-------obv. Dirk
Odom vs. Josh Howard--------Howard
Kobe vs Terry ---------- Kobe
Fischer Vs Devin Harris and spot min from Terry -------------Obv Dallas
As I see it dallas is still the overall better team
Phoenix is a little closer but again all these teams dalls phoenix and san antonio are all deeper teams are just as good starters

The Lakers are the best team in the league in terms of talent. It's not even close.
They have 3 players who are top 5 in their positions. Boston, San Antonio, and maybe Denver can boast that. The difference is, two of those three are frontcourt players, and our role players are better.
You know what happens when Kobe sets up the triangle on the strong side with Bynum, accompanied by Pau as the offside forward? Devastation.
This is the ideal triangle offense realized.

Congrats to the Lakers landing Gasol without losing anything.
The front line of Odom, Gasol, and Bynum is very nice and very talanted. Gasol has an outside game and Bynum can have the paint.
And having Kobe and Fisher in the backcourt helps too.
Once Bynum gets back, the Lakers will be a team to take seriously, especially come playoff time.

How would you even put Dampier/Diop in the same sentence with Bynum are you kidding me.
Bynum Vs Dampier= 80/20
Gasol/turiaf vs Dirk= 40/60 (not to mention dirk is a choker)
Odom/Ariza/Luke vs Josh Howard= 40/60
Kobe vs Terry=75/25 (not to mention kobe is the best closer in the league and best player in the league)
Fisher/Farmar vs Harris=50/50 (not to mention fisher is probably one of the clutches playoffs players ever)
So please, please make sure we meet up in the playoffs.

People please stop saying Jerry West made this trade, he's retired his contract ended after last season. This deal was done by their new GM who ever that is.

Bynum will be good down the line but yall think he is the best center in the league
Its plain and simple Dallas Phoenix and San Antonio all have way way way more depth.
And again Gasol is not a top five forward not even close
80-20 is laughable for the center comparrison diop and dampier bring just as much defense if not more than bynum ansd just a little less ppg
