In bold text, translated into english: Do you imagine Gasol in the Lakers?

Now, his dream becomes true.

So who wins the trade?

Lakers, Memphis????

ACTUALLY, McKie wins in this one. He gets 700k - 1 mill for saying YES.
700 is the difference to make it work. What a great deal!

Retire, go play with your kids, then have the Lakers call you and ask if you'd like to make some fat cash for taking a physical essentially.

I really do hope he shaves off that rediculously hideous beard now that he's in the fashion capital of the Nation (Los Angeles). :nonono:

I'd like to see Odom on the 2nd unit, doubt I'll happen but this team is deeeep when healthy.

IMO

Fish/Kobe/Luke/Gasol/Bynum
why Luke...need a totally unselfish, pass first player who will let the other 3 do their thing and Fish drill 3s.

then
Farmar/Sasha/Ariza/Odom/Turiaf
freakin high high energy quick unit, long forwards, hands everywhere

and
Vlad/Coby/Mihmster/DJ filling out the rest.

NBA.com finally recognizes the deal, making it done. :D

The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired forward Pau Gasol in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies, it was announced today by General Manager Mitch Kupchak. The Lakers will also receive the Grizzlies second round draft choice in 2010. In exchange Memphis will receive forward Kwame Brown, guard Javaris Crittenton, guard Aaron McKie (who the Lakers signed earlier today), the draft rights to Marc Gasol and first round picks in 2008 and 2010.

Gasol, a 7th year player out of Spain, is averaging 18.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.44 blocked shots per game this season. The 27 year old 7

Lets not forget that while Gasol is a proven All-star vet in this league he will surely benefit from KAJ being there...

thinking about it for a bit I've changed my mind. Luke on the 2nd unit, Ariza in the 1st.

Ariza won't take many shots except garbage man role, will provide killer D, and Luke's outside shooting will be needed in the 2nd unit.
