actually west was in competition, they were wild cards. reserves are 2 guards 2 fowards and 1 center and 2 wildcards.

Couldn't this have gone in one of the other five all-star threads?
And, for all the people that continue to dismiss Roy and how Portland has struggled lately, those same people forget Golden State started 0-6(I Believe) until Stephen Jackson(yes..that knucklehead) came back and they started rollin'.

Best post in this thread. Frankly I thought Roy should just be in the Sophomore game but he has been playing really well. I guess the coaches thought he was playing "All-Star" well.

But even that doesn't really matter.
Bosh isn't officially a C. He's listed on NBA.com as a F (http://www.nba.com/playerfile/chris_bosh/), as well as on the Raptors official website (http://www.nba.com/raptors/roster/), and was a F on the all-star ballot as well.
But the coaches voted for him, with the intention of him playing C, and he wasn't a wildcard.
Then again, we have no idea who the wildcards even were, do we?
