I would say for the West it's been an awesome season. Although the Raptors' division isn't the "Titanic" anymore, the East is still having a pretty disappointing season IMO.

This has at least been a million times better than last year.

We were stuck with Paxson's ridiculous deliberations, no KG trade, and everybody in the league tanking.

This year is much better, although I agree with booyah that the East needs to improve.

The Eastern Conference is still laughable, would be great if it were more competitive

Was going to start a topic, but this'll do. For the east, the only thing that is really going to matter is who comes out. For basketball fans (as opposed to just home team fans), the Eastern Conference playoffs are uninspiring.

OTOH, the West is going to be tearing and clawing at each other for 3 straight months and then we get the best post season in a long time. Check out the Western playoff seedings right now, there is no room for anyone to relax. All of their games are going to have a playoff feel, because a 2 or 3 game losing streak is enough to drop you out of the race. It's crazy!

Seriously, if you're a ball fan, League Pass is a must this season. I don't want to miss any of the Western Conference games!

Not the best year record wise but definitely the way we've played on the court.

HuH? I think he meant the league. And as for the raptors record, I actually think we're going to break the teams record for regular season wins this year. 48 to 50.

i think it depends...every season has its surprises...i can't say i'm that surprised really...i mean, i expected gasol to be traded...ditto for kidd...

i didn't expect the hornets to be this good, nor the blazers...and i thought san antonio would still be dominant and their not. i think the suns have been surprisingly beatable too. no longer a favourite to win the title, that's for sure...

the raptors, however, have been just what i expected! decent team, middle of the pack all the way...and that's better than years past!

why woud tmac go anywhere?

If so he can come to toronto and we can be a contender.

Having TMac in Toronto, will not make the Raptors a contender.

If they had Tim Duncan or Dwight Howard, then we're talking.

Actually the Detroit Pistons @ Boston Celtics game on ESPN earlier this year was the highest rated regular season game in years.

I think the EC Finals will be pretty good this year.

Oh, I have no doubt the conference finals will be a barnburner, but the lead up to that I can't get excited about. I suppose there could be a surprise...but I doubt it. I want to watch every single round out west from every team. 3 or 4 game difference from 1 to 8..that's fantastic parity.

NJ upsets Boston in first round...???

What am I kidding myself about...West playoffs are going to be off the charts.
