Calderon probably knows that he can't afford to get into foul trouble. He may be bad defensively, but I'm sure that Dixon being your 2nd PG has some type of effect.

Calderon hasn't been that bad tonight. He even had a couple of steals.

You crazy Baka? Calderon makes Nash look like the defensive player of the year.

Calderon keeps giving his man one side and then attempts to play defense by riding his opponent on the back.......

I can't stand Jose's defense anymore! Enough is enough.

Are you kidding me? Steve Nash is heads and bounds better then Calderon. From what i remember Nash leads his team in offensive fouls drawn. Also plays great team defense. While he does not have the foot speed, he knows positioning. Count how many times Calderon gets blown by.

Steals is the worst statistical analysis to show defense.

Oh for God sakes.. Calderon wasn't guarding Kobe. Kobe killed us, not Jose. Jose came to help and as a result his man got open. What can Jose do about it? The helper should be helped as well. What can Jose do to defend Kobe? if anything, blame AP, Moon and Delfino. They couldn't handle him

Nash is actually a competent team defender. Not only can Calderon not keep anyone in front of him, he consistently floats off his man in the corner, which leads to open threes.

I can confidently say that 90% of intelligent basketball minds will say that nash is the better overall defender.
