True! Now it depends on if he's willing to learn. That leaves us to one more mystery. What number will he wear? 16 is such an ugly number lol

So much for the Lakers not making moves mid season or being cheap and more concerened about the luxury tax.

Screw the tax if it means championships! Seriously...maybe Riles should learn from this.

Pau Gasol Mix...excellence! :D

We have signed Aaron Mckie earlier and I don't know how because it's so fast, I just woke up early this morning and saw that Gasol was already a Laker!!! Wow!! Also Marc Gasol was traded from the Lakers to the Griz. Thank you for the Memories Javaris Crittenton and Kwame Brown.

These are my final words for them..

Javaris - I'll never forget your 19 Point game, your killer crossovers your behind the back dribbles and your athletic dunks, Thank you Java!!

Kwame- Thank you for being a turnover machine and a funny guy for the Lakers. I hope the Griz would buy out you and be a Laker again... Haha

Nice move by Mitch!!!

Now, We have a Big 4!! Bynum-Odom-Gasol-Bryant

Well let me just add to the sentiment. WOW. I have my fingers crossed for a Lakers/Celtics finals.

Pistons will be there, no worries.

Good trade for LA, even better than just 'good'.

We lost out defensively but gained a lot balance. We also did not get screwed like we did in earlier trades which is always a plus.

I wonder if Chris Webber wishes he could go back in time and wait a few more days before signing with the Warriors.

I wonder if after this low key comments from Kobe and Phil, when the cameras are off, they're hi-fiving each other and screaming how do you like us now suckas!!!

#8 has won NBA championships
#16 has won a FIBA championship

8+16 = championships for #24?

...yeah, I got nothing. Gonna have to come up with some other spin for his number

Great trade for LA. Bynum/Gasol/Odom is easily the longest, most formidable frontcourt in the league... not to mention #24. I can easily see this group winning multiple championships over the next 5 years.

Realistically, Kwame had been horrible for the most part this season on the defensive end.

Gasol cant be any worse on the defensive end than what Kwame showed us the last couple of weeks.

I think that is why webber was given such a bad offer.. it makes perfect sense now... they were probably close to this trade but didnt want to say anything about it... most trades go silent as mostly a done deal and "bang" its done and suprises everyone... lakers didnt really want webber because of the insane payroll with gasol... they just needed a 10 day contract they pay virtually nothing for and then with gasol now in they either sign mdenga for very very little or decide to put him back into the free agency... lakers go 13-14 players the rest of the way waiting on mihm to recover and they will be set on starting and bench. having webber with additional vet min doing almost nothing when bynum and mihm come back isn't good use of money... right now lakers dont need to sign more players unless its really cheap.

What an absolute steal. This is one of the biggest no-brainer trades ever.

congrats! Amazing trade by your lakers. As a bucks fan, I wish that our management could do anything even remotely right.
