With Gasol here.....

The Lakers have more international fans than ever!

Bynum/Kobe = USA
Gasol = Spain
Sun Yue = China
Vujacic/Radman = Yugo??
Turiaf = France

I was listening to a radio interview on the way home with Mitch on 97.1 (Tom Leykis) and he said that they had been working on this deal since the day Bynum went down with injury.

I'm still hyped about this trade.

I haven't been this happy about the Lakers in a WHILE. wow.

I love my team :)

and Mitch, thanks for proving us wrong.

when healthy, this team has to be one of the favorites to win the title. I don't know if there is a better front court in the league either.

What I really like about this trade is it give Kobe a chance to Rest.
Then he can be a Tear come playoff time.

The Lakers are a pretty good team w/out Kobe in the line up.

Fisher,Farmar
Sasha, Coby
Pau, Ronny
Odom, Ariza, Walton
Ronny, Radman

This team can hold it own while saving Kobe.

Cut his minutes back and give alot of minutes to Pau so he can get the ball more and learn quicker.

Rest Kobe he looks like he needs it.
Also Rest Fisher too

Man I hate the Lakers a ton, but y'all just pulled one of the best moves ever. The Lakers have made themselves true contenders now. Spurs beware, although I still believe that Pau's foot is still hurting. :bowdown:

I'd bet Pau's foot feels a lot better now

Great move by the Lakers front office, now they're back amongst the western conference elite, hope Pau starts playing at his best soon and prove he is still a great bigman.

Not so fast.

It makes your team a little better in the short term. But it costs you depth and (immediate) chemistry. Unless Minny or Isiah are involved, there's no such thing as a steal in the NBA.

As a Houston fan, I hope nothing but good things for your team.

But you better pray nobody gets hurt.
