Some of you need to learn to evaluate things moving forward.

If Kwame were a #50 pick or something by Ainge we'd be extolling what a genius Ainge was. Sure he has bad hands and he is poor offensively... but we're not asking him to be a starter or really even a backup. He takes Pollard's role because who knows when/if Pollard will be healthy. A spot backup for 5-10 mins to push around opposing big men. I think Powe would be ahead of him in the rotation still but there are some matchups that demand a 7 footer. He is a good defender and by all accounts a decent enough guy. Plus he'll be motivated for the next contract and, if we get to the finals and play the Lakers, it'll be awesome.

He's really not that horrible, he's only horrible for a #1 pick. For the vet min I say sign him up! remember we have 2 roster spots open so we still have a spot for sam i am.

Come on Particle. He is not a good player. This is what I am talking about. You are hoping he "realizes" his talent/height and hoping he'll be motivated. He has done nothing in his career to suggest so. Now, don't get me wrong, if we signed him for the min. I certainly wouldn't care, but he would not contribute at all. He is Kandi part II.

He wouldn't be the most exciting signing or something, but if he is the best big we could sign and he would for cheap then why not? If he wasn't a #1 pick he wouldn't catch hell like he does and we could use a little more depth.

Yea, Kwame plays around the level of Craig Smith...

People will rant and rave how Craig Smith should have been a lottery pick, but with Kwame they just rail against him because he was a #1 bust.

For 10 minutes, I'd LOVE to have Kwame on the C's.

Kwame is exactly the kind of player who could come here, look good for a while playing on a good team where not much is expected of him and then be traded when his value is high. Outside of Tony Allen and maybe Scal, our bench players all have obvious flaws that put a cap on their trade value. I don't count House and Posey because their contracts are too short to be useful in trades.
