Email when subscribing to thread?

Post#1 » by pballa » Sat Feb 2, 2008 1:56 am

So, I'm part of plenty forums online and whenever I regi I always check the option to auto notify me via email when I reply to a thread...

Thus, just like right now, I can see a checkmark next to 'notify me when a reply is posted'...

yet, i never get any emails when replies are posted, at all.

is this a bug? others experiencing this?

please let me know, my email is valid and working and junk mail folder is empty.

I feel the need to ask... why would you want it to spam your inbox?

um, so i can keep track of what threads i replied to in case i forget later...whats the point of having the option then?

and...this has nothing to do with anything, if i get an email it gives a link to the thread i can click right away, so no its not pointless.

any mods read this please let me know, thanks

If you go to the forum index and click on the link I've circled in the picture below, it will take you to all the threads you've posted in. I just use that link as my bookmark so I go right to it.

EDIT: The link says "View your posts"

Most email notification was disabled a while ago along with features like the search and "Who's Online" because they were really causing the boards to slow to a crawl.
