Lineup after All-Star Break

Post#1 » by yaomac11-1 » Fri Feb 1, 2008 6:58 pm

Thought on this line- up after the Break
*starters
PG- *Alston/Brooks
SG- *Head/Wells
SF- *T-Mac/Battier/Novak
PF- *Scola/Landry/Hayes
C - *Yao/Mutombo

Snyder, James, Francis= TRADE BAIT

Scola could back Yao sometimes
T-mac could swing to SG when Battier comes in
Wells, Landry, Hayes, Brooks play as key bench guys.

possible trade predictions:
Novak+Snyder to MINN- Green G and Richard F/C

M. James to CLEV- 2nd pick + cash

Luther Head can't start against the elite teams, we need Battier in there with Mac slid down to the 2 spot.

Luther is too much of a defensive liability at the 2 guard. Every team would completely murder him in the post. Battier will start, along with Mac, Yao, Rafer and I think Scola will get the spot soon if not already.

We still need to make a trade though, we don't have enough to even advance, and really what was the point of the McGrady-Yao combination?? So we could win a championship, the way the roster is constructed now I don't see us winning one any time soon.

Especially with the Lakers drugging up Memphis and getting a huge steal.

i agree. t mac seriously cant guard the quicker, faster sf's in this league. he needs to stay at the sg slot and have battier play the small forward. he has to guard the brandon roy's and kobe bryant's of the league.

We'll be like this.

PG - Rafer/Brooks
SG - McGrady/Head
SF - Battier/Wells
PF - Scola/Landry
C - Yao/Scola

9 man rotation. Hayes will be in depending on match up. Hayes is the 10th man.
