I would love to win the next 5 games can we do it?

Post#1 » by Rapsalot » Sat Feb 2, 2008 3:32 pm

Before the break we have:

Heat on the road

Clips at ACC

T-wolfs on the road

Spurs at ACC

Nets at ACC

We could get to 30 and 21 at the break.

This could be the key games of the year. If we go 4 and 1 or even 5 and 0 I think we will make the playoffs for sure and put us in line for a 3-5 seed in the east unless Bosh or Jose gets hurt.

What do you think our record will be in the next 5 games?

4-1 if the spurs are lookin to revenge.. and don't worry about us making the playoffs we just need to focus on what to do once we're there

I think this is a realistic goal. It'd really give us some momentum if we could beat the spurs again, it'd sort of prove to the league that we're the real deal

Well, Spurs will be without Parker and Brent Barry as things stand.

Good that most of the games are at the ACC, unless we pull another stinker like tonight and let a guy go off on us we should compete hard against the Spurs at home. Only game I hope we don't look over is the T-wolves, they've been giant killers of late and if we look past them it could be a loss. Id say 4 - 1.

That really put things into perspective. It'll be very hard for this team to drop out the playoff race...so why am I freaking out after every loss.

they do still have a dude named Duncan oh and also the raptor killer Manu who didn't play in the last meeting.. the spurs are too good for the raptors to just kick back and believe they have an advantage with parker out.. remember what happened with caron butler?

It will be tough, but it is do able. The spurs will be tough and seeing how sometimes we lose to random teams you never know what could happen...but 5-0 or 4-1 would be excellent.
Are there any back-to-backs during the 5 games?

I see 4-1 or 4-2. Spurs will be tough, and we seem to have letdowns against bad teams, so an upset isn't out of the question.

And the Nets can still play. Maybe our fans wake Carter up for a day and he goes off on us.

I think going 4-2 over the next five is reasonable.

lol, sorry but we are not quite the "real deal". We are the "real inconsistent" We have been embarrased too many times to be at that level yet.

I say 3-2 at best. If we beat San Antonio again, I will be speechless.

We have to take the next 3 games. Period.

I think we can take the SA game without Parker, he typically kills us.

Nets of course, are an enigma, but we should win.

High expectations for this little stretch, but they need to start winning some games in a row right now.

Lmao last time we beat them Gino didn't play. It was hardly an impressive win to me.
